SDET II

As an SDET II you will be responsible for creating and running Manual tests in accordance with Entain Engineering standards. This role requires minimal supervision from senior engineers while contributing to the teams success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently formulate test plans for features with minimal guidance.
• Heavy focus on Manual testing
• Perform exploratory and scripted testing while automating common workflows.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of assigned products and their interactions with dependent systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in automated tests delivering modifications of small to medium complexity..
• Take ownership of quality efforts in feature testing and actively participate in bug triages.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to clarify feature requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding problems and solutions.
• Strive for excellence by consistently improving the quality of deliverables.
• Participate in the interview process and mentor Associate SDITs through code reviews.

Qualifications :

Required Experience:

• Proficient in Software Testing and Test Design for individual components and endtoend testing.
• Strong Manual testing background
• Advanced in Test Management with experience using tools like Jira Xray.
• Familiarity with Linux commands and database queries.
• Experience in crossbrowser testing and cloud devices (e.g. Browserstack LambdaTest).
• Proficient in Test Planning for software and hardware products..
• Strong understanding of Agile Testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and quality gate integration.
• Expert in defect identification debugging and reporting with a focus on preanalysis.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java JavaScript C# Python etc.).
• Good understanding of software design and architecture particularly data flow.
• Proficient in Test Case Design and Functional/NonFunctional Testing.
