Job Description
Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC seeks Sr. Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 655 Eisenhower Drive Owatonna MN 55060.
- Create software that runs on or works with electronic devices which runs on Linux Android and Windows operating systems for the Bosch Automotive Service Solutions diagnostics group.
- Develop innovative software using languages such as C C# Java and/or Android.
- Create software architecture and design for exciting new products while also participating in design reviews code reviews and adhere to software development best practices.
- Provide systemwide problemsolving solutions and production support.
- Support hardware board bringup troubleshooting device driver development and automated software builds with CI/CD pipelines.
- Responsible for seeking out and participating in personal development opportunities to stay updated on the latest technologies industry standardization and engineering best practices in addition to collaborating with multiple teams in a dynamic manufacturing facility.

Qualifications :
- This position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer Embedded Software Engineer or occupation involving developing firmware using embedded Linux.
- Additionally the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Developing embedded applications using C/C; (2) Designing embedded software architecture; (3) Developing embedded device drivers; (4) Developing test software for board bring up; and (5) Building embedded target Linux images. Travel: 10% domestic and international travel required.
- Telecommuting: Hybrid 3 days per week work from home.
