Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced DSP Software Engineer to contribute to the design development and implementation of software for DSP and SIGINT systems. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software development signal processing and communications systems. This role requires handson experience with programming languages such as Fortran C C Python and Java along with expertise in Linux and GUI technologies. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement test analyze and debug software for DSP/SIGINT systems.
- Develop and refine signal processing algorithms and techniques.
- Utilize programming languages including Fortran C C Python and Java in development projects.
- Leverage tools such as XMidas (preferred) and MATLAB for DSP system development.
- Work with various operating systems including Linux Windows Solaris Digital Unix and VMS.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in DSP/SIGINT systems development.
- Proficiency in Linux Java MATLAB C and DSP assembly languages (C/C/Fortran highly desired).
- Handson experience in communications or SIGINT systems development and testing.
Nice to Haves:
- Master s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of communication systems theory including analog and digital modulation/demodulation.
- Expertise in signal processing algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with XMidas is highly desired; MATLAB is a strong secondary preference.
- Background in algorithm development and building software for communications or SIGINT systems.
