- We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator Level III to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Logistics Warehousing Purchasing Department in Abuja Nigeria.
Responsibilities
In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Efficient Coordination: By managing operations across various areas like Inbound Outbound and Kitting you ll ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Safety Leadership: Your proactive approach to identifying and reporting hazards will foster a safer work environment for everyone.
- HSE Compliance: Adhering to and promoting Health Safety and Environmental standards will help maintain a culture of safety and responsibility.
- Quality Assurance: Performing quality checks and addressing nonconforming materials will minimize costs and enhance product quality.
- Optimized Delivery: Efficiently receiving sorting and storing goods will optimize warehouse space and improve delivery times.
- Operational Excellence: Operating equipment to meet customer expectations and maintaining cycle times will demonstrate your high competency in core work skills.
- Team Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration with your team and support staff will drive continuous improvement in processes and employee development.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Your willingness to perform miscellaneous duties and maintain a clean work area will support overall business goals and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements
- A twoyear University Degree from an accredited program in Business Engineering or a relevant field of study is preferred.
- High School Diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education training or onthejob experience in a related field such as logistics warehousing and thirdparty logistics provider management.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Skills / Abilities:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Analytical Skills: The ability to evaluate and select the appropriate transportation mode and equipment type through shipment volume analysis to balance cost quality and time effectively.
- Trade Regulation Knowledge: A solid understanding of relevant trade regulations to apply to processes and systems minimizing trade risks and costs.
- Inventory Management: Proficiency in managing physical inventory using control methodologies to maintain accurate inventory levels and meet customer expectations.
- Warehouse Operations Expertise: Familiarity with warehousing tools systems and methodologies to meet defined metrics for both inbound and outbound operations.
