Job Description

As a Sales Manager Small Medium Business you will be part of the Small Medium Business sales organization in NielsenIQ APAC and will collaborate with the respective market Sales Team to generate revenue for the products you assigned for in your respective market. To be successful in this role you need to have a proven track sales record. You will be a team player that has a strong bias for action and an ability to find a way to overcome barriers and challenges. As we are a global organization you will build networks and work on assignments and opportunities across borders which will require strong written and verbal communication skills.  Existing/Previous knowledge and exposure to NielsenIQ retail measurement data will be a plus.

Responsibilities

Commercial Excellence

  • To deliver business results by championing a clientcentric sales mindset;
  • To drive and champion a sales and growth mindset within the organization;
  • To develop a sales strategy and gotomarket execution plans with a focus on growing revenue in new clients along with former NielsenIQ clients;
  • To develop the right offerings for SMB the affordable price points to penetrate SMB clients;

Client Leadership

  • Build SMB client prospect database
  • Segment SMB clients by their data expertise & need state to define relevant solutions that address their needs/ pain points
  • Work with Marcom to develop compelling content and campaign specifically for SMB to build awareness and generate qualified leads
  • Actively engage with clients & taking ownership;
  • Be the voice of SMB client into NIQ and the voice of NIQ into the client;
  • To ensure client centricity and satisfaction.

Financial Acumen

  • To build and deliver the SMB annual operating plan achieving revenue and cost targets;
  • To manage the ongoing pipeline management sales forecasts & sales meetings.

Be an Ambassador

  • To represent the NIQ brand in the SMB market participating in external events and professional speaking engagements;
  • To be a role model internally participate in company events and activities.

Qualifications :

A Little Bit About You

Curiosity drives your interest in what moves the market. A proven sales person who can build and execute sales strategy and plan and be accountable to sales operations such as forecast and pipeline management.

A team player who has the ability to collaborate with peers. Youll be responsible for listening to discovering and understanding client needs to identify sales opportunities by leveraging NielsenIQs unique value proposition.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in the related field;
  • 35 years of working experience and proven sales results;
  • Strategic sales and business development competency;
  • Excellent client management and relationshipbuilding skills and ability to converse with stakeholders in clients organizations up to CSuite level;
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategy and the use of market data;
  • Related industries include: Consumer Packaged Goods Consultative Sales B2B/Saas Sales;
  • Passion for sales strong communication skills and nevergiveup spirit;
  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • Experience with Sales Tech is a plus;
