Exciting Opportunity: Research Technician Cytogenetics
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist with daytoday research cytogenetics operations in MCCF. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrylevel researcher to gain handson experience in groundbreaking cancer biology research.
Role Overview
- Cell Culture: Perform cell culture of research samples.
- Sample Preparation: Assist with preparing samples for DNAFISH and karyotyping.
- Cytogenetics Assistance: Aid cytogeneticists in scoring FISH and karyotyping samples.
- Lab Maintenance: Maintain lab space and clean lab equipment.
- Reagent Management: Help maintain reagent stocks.
Key Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Biology or life sciences.
- Previous experience with cytogenetics assays is advantageous but not required; full training will be provided.
