Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. As a Dental Nurse you will assist in various dental procedures ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and wellinformed throughout their treatment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to foster a positive environment.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the surgery area.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping and scheduling as required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from those who are eager to learn.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- A passion for patient care and a commitment to providing highquality service in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with dental software or IT systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as necessary.
