We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Compensation Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate is responsible for creating and managing our companys compensation policies and programs. This role recommends and administers compensation plans that are compliant with applicable laws regulations and company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement competitive compensation plans and policies
- Administer surveys and analyze market data to evaluate wage and salary levels
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including FLSA and EEO
- Establish and manage job classifications and job descriptions
- Analyze internal salary equity and job worth
- Evaluate and recommend salary increases and other compensation changes
- Participate in the design and implementation of employee recognition and reward programs
- Liaise between HR and payroll to ensure accuracy of compensation
- Monitor employee benefits and ensure compliance
- Research and recommend methods to control compensation costs
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process
- Monitor and report on compensation trends
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as a Compensation Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of current laws and regulations related to compensation
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems and MS Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
