As Revenue Manager you will build revenue strategies to maximise hotel performance and returns. In this role you will report directly to the General Manager whilst working closely with hotel Department Leaders and external stakeholders/owners.
In this role you will
- Drive long term strategic planning and short term tactics to increase and maximise the hotels overall revenue profit and improve key performance indicator performance.
- Be a confident leader that communicates with impact and has an eye for detail
- Have strong analytical and proactive problem solving skills including analysing data and market trends being proactively inquisitive and interpreting the data to develop and implement nimble SMART strategies to maximise revenue opportunities
- Have a strong understanding of market segments yield management techniques supply/demand and complex pricing relationship including keeping a constant pulse on the market demand drivers and proactively adapting quickly to maximise revenue
- Proactively manage the distribution of Hotel inventory to ensure maximum occupancy of the hotel by maintaining accurate rooms inventory control systems.
- Generate 13 month forecasting online pricing/planning/availability.
- Prepare Budgets & Business Plans Weekly Monthly and Quarterly Reporting attend Owners Review Meetings
- Drive proactive rate strategy development and implementation to achieve the properties goals
- Lead the fortnightly RevMax meetings detailing hotel revenue strategies and leading the departments to be accountable for their contribution to the revenue
Qualifications :
To be Successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role with an exceptional understanding of Revenue Management Principles and proven success as a Revenue professional
- Passion about Revenue and Hotels and a winning drive which you enjoy sharing with others.
- Exceptional proactive communication skills both verbal and written to be able to navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills.
- A flair for Excel and PowerPoint with working proficiency in Word and Outlook.
- Resourcefulness and curiosity to innovate.
- Proactive customer focused and a collaborative leader
