Develop humanitarian intervention plans/mechanisms & identify priorities in line of developments in Niger .
1. Team Leadership and Supervision:
Manage Daily Operations:
Take responsibility for day-to-day operations within the department or business unit in the absence of the regular manager.
Ensure that all operational processes and systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise and provide direction to the team, ensuring that work is completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Handle any staff issues or conflicts that arise during the absence of the regular manager.
Performance Management:
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
Conduct performance evaluations, if necessary, and ensure that team goals are met.
2. Decision-Making and Problem-Solving:
Making Key Decisions:
Make timely and effective decisions in the absence of the regular manager.
Address any operational challenges and resolve issues as they arise.
Problem Resolution:
Act as a point of escalation for any issues that require managerial attention.
Provide solutions to problems that impact the team, clients, or company operations.
3. Operational Planning and Coordination:
Planning and Delegating Tasks:
Ensure that workloads are appropriately distributed across the team to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency.
Plan for short-term objectives and adjust priorities as needed based on evolving needs.
Ensuring Continuity:
Ensure that all key activities and initiatives are carried out as planned during the absence of the regular manager.
Monitor ongoing projects and ensure that they stay on track, including deadlines and deliverables.
4. Client and Customer Interaction:
Client Relationship Management:
Interact with clients, customers, and external stakeholders as needed, ensuring that their needs are met and that service levels remain high.
Address customer complaints or issues and resolve them efficiently.
Representing the Company:
Serve as a representative of the company or department when interacting with clients or vendors during the absence of the regular manager.
5. Financial and Resource Management:
Budget Oversight:
Assist in managing the budget or financial resources for the team or department during the temporary management period.
Monitor expenses to ensure they align with budget guidelines.
Resource Allocation:
Ensure that adequate resources (staff, materials, etc.) are available to carry out operations effectively during the relief period.
B.S.C in Business Administration, Disaster Management or equivalent from a recognized University.

Professional certificate or in project management, NGOs management, conflict management or humanitarian action .

Experience :: At Least 7 Years in the same field .

Advanced practice of relief/development project management methodologies & knowledge of data analysis & reporting mechanism

Strategic thinking skills, good understanding of strategic planning processes, effective communication skills & ability to train/develop subordi

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment .
Leadership and Management Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities to oversee staff and ensure smooth operations.
Experience in managing diverse teams, delegating tasks, and providing performance feedback.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle issues effectively and efficiently.
Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, clients, and senior management.
