About the Role

We are currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Portfolio Management & Research Working Student to collaborate with us on a variety of different projects and workstreams. As a member of our team you will play a pivotal role in driving portfolio reporting support the creation of portfolio overviews and portfolio updates support with other research and presentation projects and topics internally.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain handson experience in venture capital blockchain technology and portfolio management while making a tangible impact in a fastpaced environment. Tasks

• Portfolio Reporting and Monitoring: Oversee the implementation of structured portfolio reporting systems and ensure consistent monitoring of portfolio performance key metrics and individual asset performance.
• Portfolio Analysis: Evaluate and monitor the performance potential risks and return of our investment portfolio.
• Market Research: Conduct indepth market research to stay informed about trends economic developments and relevant industry news ensuring that the team remains ahead of potential market shifts.
• Due Diligence for Investment Opportunities: Assist in conducting thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities gathering relevant data evaluating risks and helping the investment committee make informed decisions.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data including market trends economic indicators and historical performance to support investment decisions and recommendations.
• Reporting and Stakeholder Communication: Generate regular reports on portfolio performance and key findings presenting insights and trends to stakeholders.
• AdHoc Support: Provide support for additional tasks as needed contributing to various aspects of portfolio management and investment processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as statistics mathematics computer science data science or business administration or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English with a good knowledge of German.
• Proficiency in Power BI and other relevant data visualization tools; experience with Excel for data analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research analyze data and present findings clearly and concisely. Able to work independently on projects and workstreams.
• Good understanding of Web3 and Blockchain with a strong interest in emerging technologies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in an investment company
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Storage
