Job Description
Job Title: Director Laboratory
Location: Mayfield KY
Salary: As per Exp.
Job Type: Permanent Fulltime
The Director of Laboratory is responsible for overseeing all laboratory operations ensuring regulatory compliance and leading a team to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic services. This leadership role is critical in supporting patient care and maintaining high standards in an acute care setting.

Operational Oversight:

Manage daily laboratory operations ensuring efficiency and adherence to protocols.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize laboratory performance.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations.

Maintain laboratory accreditation standards and prepare for inspections.

Team Leadership:
-
Lead and mentor laboratory staff fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Oversee hiring training and performance evaluations for laboratory personnel.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and monitor quality control programs to maintain accurate diagnostic results.

Address and resolve any issues related to laboratory operations or test results.

Required Documents:

Medical Technologist Certificate

ASCP Certification or equivalent

Bachelors Degree
-
Willingness to obtain a Kentucky state license upon offer
