Job Description:
The Engineering Solutions Unit is seeking a skilled Application Development Consultant to support the development enhancement and maintenance of applications that streamline the Engineering Departments business processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fullstack development lowcode/nocode platforms system integration and report generation within a Microsoftcentric application environment.
Mandatory Skills:

Design develop enhance and upgrade applications to support the Engineering Departments business processes.

Perform the full application development lifecycle including requirement analysis design development testing deployment and maintenance.

Build and maintain web applications involving frontend and backend development database development and website hosting.

Utilize technologies such as C# .Net Framework .Net Core React Redux Node.js Azure Cloud and Microsoft SQL.

Develop and deploy workflowenabled applications using lowcode/nocode platforms like SharePoint Online/Office 365 MS Power Platform OpenText Content Server and eBuilder.

Integrate document repositories and workflows with MS SharePoint Online.

Integrate custom applications with commercial offtheshelf (COTS) software.

Design and generate reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) MS Power BI and IBM Cognos Analytics.

Create projectspecific report solutions including flexible reporting with detailed analysis adhoc queries and thresholdbased alerts.

Review technical and business specifications to deliver tailored solutions.

Support application management and maintenance tasks for the Engineering Solutions Unit.

Maintain and support content platforms such as SharePoint and Content Server.

Act as a liaison with the Technology Department to ensure seamless application integration and support.
