This role provides support for the state s use of its ITSM system(ServiceNow) and NCDIT s use of best practices supporting users needs whileworking with a team of ServiceNow professionals. This role reports to the NCDITServiceNow platform owner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform any necessary enhancements upgradesor maintenance on the platform
Adhere to the best practices and standards onthe ServiceNow platform as defined by agency process and FedRAMP compliance
Handle all enhancement requests related toportal and Catalog items including retrofitting design standards for existingCatalog items
Be able to gather business requirementsanalyze and translate into technical documentation and development
Monitor application performance and analyzecode
Adhere to advancements and changes on theServiceNow platform and lever them to provide business solutions
Proactively researching and suggestingenhancements to existing engagements
Develop and implement fixes for bugs andissues found in ServiceNow production
Perform system/workflow enhancements and scriptchanges in ServiceNow to enable changing/evolving business practices.
Execute data mapping and bulk dataimports/updates when necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer ScienceInformation Systems or a related field
35 years of experience in ServiceNowtechnology specifically supporting the processes and administration ofServiceNow
Experience designing and deploying webbasedend user selfservice portals building and modifying Catalog items
Experience building and maintainingintegrations between ServiceNow and other systems leveraging REST SOAP andother APIs
Experience withServiceNow forms fields views lists UI policy and actions and client andserver scripts
Experience integrating ServiceNow with othertools and services; monitoring alerting and federated sources of CI data
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the governmental sector(local state or federal)
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills; ability to communicate clean organized and thorough information anddata appropriate for intended audience
Ability to develop insightful beneficial andactionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of thoseresults; produce unambiguous comprehensive and accurate interpretations
Ability to obtain a security clearance withFedRAMP administration standards
