Job Title: Functional SAP/ERP Material Handling Process Optimization
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: / Term: 6 months Contract

Qualification:
We are looking for a Functional SAP/ERP Material Handling Consultant to join our team and focus on process optimization within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP/ERP systems particularly in Material Handling and logistics processes and will be responsible for analyzing designing and implementing efficient processes that enhance material flow inventory management and overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current material handling processes within the SAP/ERP system and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the design configuration and implementation of material handling processes in SAP/ERP ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Optimize material flow warehouse operations and inventory management processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements configure solutions and deploy material handling and inventory management processes.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the solution is tailored to meet business needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance order fulfillment stock replenishment and product traceability.
- Provide functional expertise and support for SAP Material Management (MM) Warehouse Management (WM) and other relevant modules.
- Assist with troubleshooting process design and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into system functionality and optimizations.
- Train users and provide postgolive support to ensure smooth transition and ongoing process efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a functional consultant in SAP ERP with specific expertise in Material Handling and Supply Chain processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules including MM (Material Management) WM (Warehouse Management) EWM and logistics execution.
- Experience with process optimization in material handling inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Ability to design and configure SAP/ERP systems to support business processes in Material Handling.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to optimize complex supply chain processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP certification in MM WM or related modules.
- Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
