Job Description

Job Title: Junior IT Help Desk Technician

Location: King of Prussia PA

Duration: 06 Months

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Junior IT Help Desk Technician that will directly contribute to their mission by helping ensure all team members have and are utilizing technology efficiently and effectively and all issues are handled timely. The successful candidate will bring an entrepreneurial approach to the company and collaborate with business leaders crossfunctionally. There are tremendous growth opportunities in this role by identifying process improvement opportunities and leading initiatives to make them more efficient and working across the company to help managers make more informed decisions.

Job Summary:

The Junior IT Help Desk Technician will sit as the first point of contact providing technical assistance and support our clients growing network of clinics. They will be responsible for purchasing tracking provisions and licensing updates to all hardware. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented selfmotivated have excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for team members seeking technical assistance over the phone email or chat
  2. Ordering unboxing and setting up PCs Tablets and printers (and any other necessary IT equipment)
  3. Assigning and tracking all company equipment
  4. Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  5. Determine the best solution for IT needs based on the issue and details provided by team members
  6. Walk the team members through the problemsolving process
  7. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support
  8. Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  9. Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  10. Direct the IT wiring layout and installation process for new clinics
  11. Coordinate with service providers to obtain new service and troubleshoot issues when necessary
  12. Occasionally (once every two weeks or less) drive to HHF clinics to provide direct support

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  2. Background in technology with supporting recent Windows platforms hardware and software printers MS Office applications LAN / WAN issues
  3. Good understanding of computer systems mobile devices and other tech products
  4. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  5. Proficiency in English
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Customeroriented and cooltempered
  8. BS/BA in IT Computer Science or relevant field
