garment quality incharge also known as a quality manager or quality assurance (QA) manager is responsible for ensuring that a companys products meet quality standards and customer expectations:
Quality control
Oversee the quality of products throughout the production process from design to shipping. This includes inspecting raw materials semifinished goods and finished products.
Quality assurance
Take a proactive approach to quality including selecting raw materials training employees and designing products.
Quality issues
Identify and analyze quality issues and recommend and implement corrective actions.
Communication
Communicate with other departments such as buying merchandising production and planning.
Staff management
Lead and develop a team of QA QC and technical staff. This includes evaluating staff performance training needs and career development.
Compliance
Ensure that the company complies with legal standards and safety regulations.
Audits
Conduct company audits related to quality control and quality assurance.
