Job Description

Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago Illinois area office!


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare engineering documents (plans specifications models cost estimates project schedules)
  • Provide project management on water/wastewater systems and related components
  • Work on design project (water/sanitary mains pumping stations storage tanks/reservoirs water/wastewater treatment plants and well water systems)
  • Prepare engineering reports drawings and specifications
  • Prepare estimates schedules and change order for public improvements
  • Construction administration duties and periodic inspection during construction of water/wastewater facilities
  • Attend municipal board meetings

Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT or PE license preferred
  • 5 years of experience
  • Municipal water and/or wastewater systems design experience (modeling creation calibration and evaluation)
  • Knowledge of IEPA IDEM and Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago permitting processes preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel)
