Job Description
- Prepare engineering documents (plans specifications models cost estimates project schedules)
- Provide project management on water/wastewater systems and related components
- Work on design project (water/sanitary mains pumping stations storage tanks/reservoirs water/wastewater treatment plants and well water systems)
- Prepare engineering reports drawings and specifications
- Prepare estimates schedules and change order for public improvements
- Construction administration duties and periodic inspection during construction of water/wastewater facilities
- Attend municipal board meetings
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT or PE license preferred
- 5 years of experience
- Municipal water and/or wastewater systems design experience (modeling creation calibration and evaluation)
- Knowledge of IEPA IDEM and Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago permitting processes preferred
- Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel)
