Job Description
We are seeking a skilled FrontEnd Developer (min. 4 years) with strong attention to detail aesthetics and technical expertise to deliver pixelperfect implementations. This role focuses on translating designs into polished userfriendly interfaces emphasizing GISbased data visualization. You will work independently make design decisions and collaborate within an agile sprint framework. Occasional website updates and basic backend awareness to ensure smooth data integration with maps and geospatial features are part of the role.
Tasks
- UI Development: Build precise responsive frontend code based on design mockups ensuring pixelperfect quality and adherence to specifications.
- User Experience: Optimize user flows and interactions for intuitive userfriendly interfaces.
- GIS Integration: Implement mapbased interfaces using tools like Leaflet Mapbox or OpenLayers to visualize and interact with geospatial data.
- Website Updates: Perform occasional updates and optimizations maintaining branding and UX consistency.BackEnd Awareness (Optional): Understand data flow and APIs (e.g. Node.js Python REST/GraphQL) to troubleshoot and align frontend/backend integration.
Requirements
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript React Next.js HTML5 CSS3 and responsive design.
- Experience with geospatial libraries (e.g. Leaflet Mapbox OpenLayers).
- Proficient in version control (Git) and commandline tools.
- Skilled in translating design concepts into accurate implementations.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Figma Sketch) and basic principles of color typography and layout.
- Fluent in English German would be a plus
