Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Accounting and Operations Analyst for our client. This role is critical to ensuring financial health and operational efficiency within a fastpaced technologydriven environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background operational leadership skills and a forwardthinking mindset to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee budgeting forecasting accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations financial policies and reporting standards.
- Manage subscriptionbased revenue models including accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
- Administer sales commissions and manage referral agent payouts.
- Maintain oversight of office management tasks including inventory and maintenance.
- Manage the accounting mailbox for efficient communication and issue resolution.
- Conduct audits and identify areas for cost optimization and process improvements.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee procurement vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for operational improvement.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure service continuity.
- Participate in business process management and improvement initiatives.
Team Collaboration & Management
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial and operational priorities.
- Drive process automation and system optimization for greater efficiency.
- Provide crossfunctional training to support collaboration across operations teams.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and operations management preferably in an MSP or IT services environment.
- Proven expertise in managing subscriptionbased revenue models and SaaS financial metrics.
Skills
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and driving decisions.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
- Familiarity with IT service delivery tools (e.g. PSA systems like ConnectWise or Autotask).
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Salary:
$45000 $55000
