As a Server / Network Security Support Engineer you are required to provide maintenance support to clients. You will play a key part in Technology Services Delivery team to ensure security solution maintained at the highest quality and standard
What will you do
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on customers solution with accuracy and adhere to high quality of work
- Perform Corrective Maintenance on any fault calls reported and comply closely to project SLA
- Perform Patch Management support plan and apply regular updates to mitigate vulnerabilities OS patching and maintain system compliance
- Provide support to customer asset discovery consolidation tracking updating and monitoring to ensure they are uptodate
- Perform regular health checks and activities to ensure operational effectiveness for customers
- Provide and prepare technical maintenance documentation to be delivered for customers
- Work closely and collaboration with different stakeholders from internal teams to vendors to provide end to end of assigned task
- Work closely with Team Leader or Service Manager to meet customer delivery milestones
- Participate in maintenance standby duty to cover 24x7 support on rotational basis as preassigned by the team lead
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Diploma / ITE in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field or IT equivalent
- Typically 12 or more years of experience in IT domain and some experience in patching for Window environments
- Understanding of System/Servers and Network technology
- Knowledge of network system network architecture routing switching firewall and security
- Knowledge of technical vulnerability management (vulnerability assessment penetration testing) security technologies (system hardening IDS/IPD firewall) security incident response and security assessment
- Certification in CCNA CISSP or equivalent network or IT security certifications will be valueadd
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Selfmotivator with a positive attitude and with high energy
- Independent and customer focused
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Able to travel as required
