Senior Procurement Fleet Category Manager

DO WHAT YOU LOVE: 

• You are responsible for transferring the corporate planning into the groupwide procurement roadmap for the fleet division
• You manage the global requirements of our internal customers (as business partner and quality gate) and accompany the purchasing projects as an interdisciplinary interface to other departments
• You monitor the market for conventional and innovative partners and strategies relating to our
• You conduct tenders and auctions support rollouts and establish the groupwide eSourcing and eProcurement strategy
• You conduct annual negotiations with our existing contractual partners and intermediaries in Germany and abroad and support our foreign companies in their negotiations
• You review and optimize our international quality standards and implement them with our local partners
• You take on groupwide responsibility for the development of a product group strategy and ensure its implementation
• You improve the cost structure of SIXT by analyzing designing and implementing purchasing initiatives
• As an experienced buyer you are a professional role model for your team colleagues and support them by sharing knowledge on topics such as negotiation project planning and purchasing tools

COME AS YOU ARE: 

• Proven experience in OFC procurement or a related field with at least 5 years experience
• You have indepth knowledge of OFC procurement and technical knowledge of vehicle and body specification
• You have very good negotiating skills coupled with strong cost awareness
• You are characterised by your ability to work under pressure team spirit and assertiveness
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and OEMs
• You have very good knowledge of MS Office
• You feel at home in an agile environment and remain calm and experienced even with shortterm project changes
• Travel up to 25% both domestically and globally
