Job Description
We are in search of a dynamic and proactive professional to enhance our highperforming Legal team and contribute to the growth of a premier global enterprise.
We seek a qualified lawyer with approximately 4 years of postqualification experience who possesses outstanding communication skills is wellorganised adaptable and resilient and who excels at proactive problemsolving with meticulous attention to detail.
As a direct report to the Head of Legal for EMEA and India your role will be crucial in delivering toptier crossborder legal counsel within a compact elite team. Your responsibilities will include advising Rotork Plc and its subsidiaries on a wide array of matters such as commercial contracts (including framework agreements master supply agreements and agent/distributor/reseller agreements as well as nonstandard supply and purchase terms) litigation data protection employment and HR issues mergers and acquisitions internal restructuring property deals and intellectual property issues.
You will offer solutions to business challenges in a manner that is commercially savvy and straightforward. You will be innovative in driving efficiencies and shaping business strategies. Engaging with the Management Board you will have a daily impact ensuring that no two days are alike.
Qualifications :
Experience requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with 4 years PQE.
- Must have solid experience in general commercial contracts. Additional experience in data protection employment or disputes/litigation is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in providing consistent and clear riskbased advice in an inhouse environment is essential.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
- Is commercially aware bright confident and proactive.
- Can build relationships at all levels through effective communication and teamwork.
- Can work autonomously but be a team player.
- Is calm under pressure and organises workload to be as efficient as possible.
- Has excellent attention to detail with a tenacious approach to best practice.
