What will you be doing
Are you ready to drive innovation in automotive chassis electronics At ALTEN LTD we collaborate with worldrenowned automotive leaders to deliver cuttingedge engineering solutions. Were looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Crewe. In this role youll lead a team of skilled engineers ensuring the successful delivery of chassis mechatronics systems for premium automotive projects. If youre passionate about project planning stakeholder management and delivering engineering excellence this is your chance to make an impact .As a Project Engineer you will join Crewe team to support our activities within the Automotive sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and manage a team of 5 engineers delivering chassis mechatronics systems for current vehicle projects.
- Oversee and create detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project including Gantt chart management.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that meet quality and time objectives.
- Act as a key liaison ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize data visualization tools to monitor and report on project progress and milestones.
- Drive the timely delivery of highquality engineering deliverables ensuring adherence to automotive industry standards.
Who are we looking for
- Strong expertise in project planning and management ideally in the automotive sector.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and experience creating Gantt charts and schedules.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and clear concise communication.
- Experience in data visualization and reporting project outcomes effectively

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or related fields).
- Desirable: Handson experience with chassis systems and mechatronics.
