Job Description
What will you be doing
Are you passionate about driving quality excellence in a dynamic and fastpaced environment ALTEN LTD is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the implementation and improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) for innovative projects within the automotive manufacturing sector. Be a key player in maintaining critical business accreditations while working with stakeholders at all levels to ensure operational and product success.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) including maintaining business accreditations such as VDA IATF 16949 CQC and VSCC.
- Organise and manage internal audit systems (LPA MPA) and oversee corrective action reporting processes.
- Conduct quality systems audits and provide training or guidance for auditors and other team members.
- Host external audits and ensure site compliance with IATF and customerspecific quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain Quality Manuals Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation.
- Drive process improvements through quality awareness training KPI tracking and the development of preventive measures for nonconformities.
- Collaborate with operations and senior management to present progress reports and quality metrics.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Strong experience in maintaining and auditing QMS in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Selfmotivated and resultsdriven with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders from the shop floor to the boardroom.
- Assertive adaptable and capable of working in a collaborative environment.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies and developing qualityrelated training programs.
