Job Description
- Create customized therapy plans based on assessment results and student goals.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes therapy plans and progress notes.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess students speech language and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate closely with students families and interdisciplinary teams to set and monitor therapy objectives.
- Stay updated on advancements in speechlanguage pathology through continuous professional development.
- Educate students and families about various communication and swallowing disorders offering practical strategies for improvement.
- Deliver compassionate therapy services to clients with diverse communication and swallowing difficulties ensuring individualized care and support.
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Master s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
- Valid Georgia State Speech Language Pathology license.
- Prior experience with elementaryaged children in a selfcontained classroom is preferred.
