Under the authority of the main business partnership the incumbent ensures that human capital strategies and programs are aligned with the organizations business objectives in the units he supports. He/she advises leaders on best practices for engaging their teams taking into consideration the work environment and organizational culture.
While this role directly supports assigned groups he/she will also have responsibilities on projects and activities of other groups within the organization.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (dedicated client group)
- Collaborate with all members of the organization to evaluate create and implement innovative solutions to drive employee engagement within the customer group
- Provides department supervisors with assistance and/or advice related to all situations experienced in the working groups.
- Partner with managers to review processes activities and tools to improve performance management and employee talent development
- Is responsible for documenting all movements (transfer promotion hiring etc.) of labor
- Work closely with managers and employees to find constructive solutions to employee relations issues
- Investigates and follows up on complaint processes
- Coordinates annual processes (performance evaluation annual review bonus etc.)
- Coaches supervisors in their client group;
- Analyzes in collaboration with the managers of its client group the problems of staff performance and absenteeism and recommends appropriate improvement approaches;
- Participates in special projects of the business partner group
CNESST CASE MANAGEMENT
- Follows up on work accident files for all divisions in Eastern Quebec;
- Takes care of expertise and/or consolidation files;
- Produces reports on the followup of work accidents;
- Ensures followup between employees on temporary assignment and supervisors;
- Notifies the supervisor of the return to work of employees;
- Communicates with the consulting firm for litigious files;
- Act as a backup for files during the absence of the Montreal councillor
DIVERSE
- Collaborates in the onboarding process for new employees;
- Lend a hand during periods of increased recruitment work (posting resume analysis telephone and inperson interviews job offers and drafting of employment contracts;
- Collaborates in establishing and maintaining good relationships with professional associations and networking groups to identify diverse talent groups;
- Collaborates in the recruitment process for foreign workers
- Participates in the organization of various special events;
- Performs all other tasks at the request of his/her immediate supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Has a bachelors degree in human resources;
- Has 1 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Must have leadership an analytical mind and demonstrate objectivity and discretion in the performance of his/her activities;
- Must have interpersonal skills diplomacy and patience in interpersonal relationships;
- Has a strong sense of organization;
- Must have the ability to work under pressure;
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
