Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations this position is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of CEDA services for maintenance and turnaround activities within the Sudbury operating region. This role will also assist in developing the strategic initiatives that maintain and add to the existing customer base.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor field operations and ongoing projects to ensure job completion in an efficient reliable cost effective and safe manner
- Collaborate with field leadership and general manager on all operational and personnel issues
- Tactical level leadership and management of all operations within division to ensure continuum of effective and efficient business operations
- Coordinate manpower and equipment requirements by evaluating and maximizing existing resources
- Assist the general manager and account manager in the development and administration of sales operating and various cost saving strategies
- Develop and maintains positive customer relations by leading through safe work performance and measurable key performance indicators
- Support the development of marketing and sales initiatives as well as bid packages and proposals
- Ensures adherence to all company health safety environmental standards policies and procedures and maintains ongoing knowledge of local provincial and federal guidelines for full compliance
- Other duties as needed
Role Specifications
- 7 years experience in an operations leadership role in an industrial services setting preferably in the mining industry
- Proven business acumen and advanced customer service skills enabling you to build strong valueadded and collaborative relationships
