Job Description
Were looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our Experian IT Services function.
Within the team you will be responsible for z/OS JES2 Vendor supplied software and support the general health of the mainframe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
z/OS system software installation maintenance and configuration
Hardware configuration
z/OS Security software installation maintenance and configuration certificates USS etc. As part of this role you will be required to be on call 1 in 5 weeks.
Skills and Technology Requirements
z/OS installation & configuration
HCD and experience of z15/z16 cart and disk infrastructure deliveries
Security and certificates including encryption ciphers etc
Assembler and user exit coding
Unix Systems Services
Broad ISV exposure including Broadcom and BMC products
SMPE
WLM
TSO/ISPF
REXX
Parallel SYSPLEX
Excellent problem solving skills combined with a passion for continuous improvement.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- 10 years experience of z/OS systems programming
