Transfer Pricing Adviser

As a TP Adviser youll be working closely with people from across the business and around the world from accountants to lawyers to marketing specialists and technology experts in the UK Gibraltar Malta India and elsewhere. Understanding the business is critical to helping shape and futureproof the groups transfer pricing structure.

Youll need to stay abreast of transfer pricing developments including the evolving areas of taxation of digital businesses as the OECDs BEPS project continues to be implemented and youll need to stay close to the business to ensure the tax strategy and commercial strategy continually align.

What you will do

Compliance

• Help in preparing the preparation/ roll forward of OECD Local Files/ Master file/ CbCR using existing team resources and thirdparty advisers.
• Help to monitor the groups compliance obligation and filing requirements.
• Support TP Support Senior Manager in the coordination/review/ and preparation of supporting benchmarking studies in line with M&A activity and internal group projects.
• Support TP Support Senior Manager on tax audit queries to the extent required.
• Maintaining files to ensure prompt and accurate responses to tax authority information request

Business partnering

• Work collaboratively within the International Tax team and with key decision makers to support in the delivery of a robust international tax strategy across the group.
• Maintain relationships within both the International Tax Team and the Wider Tax Team.

Technical

• Maintain up to date knowledge of developments within the Transfer Pricing field and trends within the industry.
• Assist TP Support Senior Manager in researching technical Transfer Pricing issues and developments.
• Assisting TP Support Senior Manager with the implementation of and automation of transfer pricing recharges.
• Working closely with the tax team to support the drafting of intercompany legal agreements to ensure compliance with the groups transfer pricing policies.

Operations

• Provide assistance to the International Tax Team during the year end process including helping with calculating TP adjustments to ensure that the groups profit by territory is appropriately recognized within the consolidated accounts.
• Assist TP Support Senior Manager with audit queries and transfer pricing provisions to be recognized in the groups consolidated and entity accounts.
• Assist TP Support Senior Manager to help review local statutory profitability against benchmarked support to ensure accuracy in the statutory accounts.

Qualifications :

• Transfer pricing qualifications chartered accountant (or equivalent) and/or economics degree.
