For this role the focus is set on advanced simulation of vibration and structural mechanics.
- Youll be a part of our team and model vibrations in automotive components.
- You will simulate 3D multiphysics models using numerical simulations scripting and programming.
- You will develop better modeling strategies for vibration.
- Furthermore you combine physicsbased models with databased approaches.
- You will work in international teams and perform necessary development/implementation to accomplish the tasks.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
Required skills:
- Excellent knowledge of solid mechanics
- Expertise in vibration modeling Sound fundamentals of Finite Element Methods
- Excellent programming skills in python C C
- Proficiency in Abaqus tool Good knowledge of partial differential equations
- Sound fundamentals of Numerical methods for engineering problems
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Preferable skills:
- Experience with simulation tools: Matlab Simulink and Ansys will be added advantage.
- Application knowledge in at least one of the areas of mobility industrial technology consumer goods or energy and building technology
Qualifications :
MS/M.Tech PhD from top Indian institutes (IITs IIITs IISc etc.) or from top international institutes with good track record of research publications related to Computational mechanics Structural mechanics
