Job Description
- Full P&L responsibility for the assigned category including revenue margin wastage & other supplier income.
- Develop and execute aligned category strategy to meet with KPIs
- Ensure pandamart has the right selections and best prices in the market through international sourcing recruiting marketplace sellers and leveraging competitive intelligence.
- Work with existing vendor base to negotiate cost funding and terms improvement secure supplier marketing and advertising spend develop new incentive programs and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfilment centre.
- Work to develop new sourcing and extended range to ensure we have high quality good value goods available to our customers yearround.
- Employ datadriven decisionmaking to drive the category. Provide insight to the Head of Commercial and work closely with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supply
- Partner with Operations team to manage inventory levels and wastage.
- Contribute to pandamart growth by optimising and streamlining Category management. Help to design systems and processes to minimise time spent on daytoday tasks and allow more time for strategic thinking.
- Work crossfunctionally with Supply Chain Operations Imports Pricing Strategy Finance Trade Marketing and Marketing to deliver strategic projects that allow pandamart to offer the best customer experience.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree or relevant.
6 years relevant work experience preferably in FMCG retail account and category management.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Managers
Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations influence and overall relationship management (both internal and external).
Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Ability and desire to contribute to wider team performance and culture.
Strong analytical skills.
Great communication skills (both oral and written) are a must.
Proficient in MS Office & Gsuite
