Job Description

Employee Relations And Industrial Relations

Drive and manage industrial relations activities on the shop floor by addressing grievances and utilizing counseling techniques for conflict resolution. Develop and implement creative employee engagement programs within the plant to capitalize on organizational advantages thus ensuring business continuity while considering internal and external environmental factors.

Temporary Workforce Management

Partner with the value streams to plan and provide manpower based on the volume situation and ensure enhancement of the skill level of current associates.

Wage cost and productivity improvement.

Discipline Legal And Statutory Compliance

Representing management in various disciplinary proceedings in domestic inquiry and also in the conciliation meetings with labor authorities Conduct awareness programs to shop floor M&SS in the area of handling discipline and compliance in the organization.

Organization effectiveness and 0 non compliance.

HR Administration

Represent for all statistical data and information coordinating for audits administration of Engagement surveys workmen Steer for bench marking data regioncumindustries wage data of workmen category by using agencies and leveraging contacts.

MIS Data analytics.

HR Projects

Drive HR/ER related projects as part of business strategies and participate in various ER/ labour model assessments.

Organization effectiveness.

Union Management

Manage union meetings facilitate / conduct union elections to ensure cordial employee relations and industrial relations in the plant Ensure smooth and seamless implementation of various settlements signed with the workers union as per the timelines agreed in the settlement.

Employee relation.

 


Qualifications :

MBA or MSW in Human Resource

24 years of experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations

Experience in handling Union(s) and Industrial Relations in large organization


Additional Information :

Knowledge

  • Proficient level of knowledge in all applicable labor laws
  • Proficient in Marathi English Hindi Language Read write and speak
  • Proficient level of knowledge in Industry trends practices etc

Functional Skills

  • Proficient in interpersonal communication and conflict management / mediation skills
  • Competent in computer/technology skills
  • Proficient in data collection data analytics and reporting skills
  • Proficient in negotiation and Collective Bargaining
