Job Description
- Responsible for production molding and handling equipment to assure robust manufacturing performance.
- Maintain operator molding standard work instructions PFMEA matrix document change checklist etc.
- Responsible for setup/maintenance of interfaces such as mold press and auxiliary handling equipment
- Mold releases for new customers/projects
- Support the manufacturing function regarding IATF16949 and Bosch standard requirement
- Develop maintain and apply lean manufacturing principles (BPS) throughout the value stream with regards to equipment design selection layouts and material flow.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams control plans PFMEA PQIs process control documentation standard work instructions etc).
- Identify and lead projects to improve safety cost quality delivery and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.
Qualifications :
- BS in Engineering and 3 years technical experience in molding
- Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred
- Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets
- Ability to travel (including internationally) for equipment acceptance/buyoff and IPN activities
