Purpose of the job
We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with a focus on using modern technologies and experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex software systems (clientside and serverside)
- Provide technical guidance and direction to the development team
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software solutions
- Build the frontend of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop and design effective APIs
- Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software solutions
- Stay current on industry trends and technologies to continually improve the teams technical capabilities
- Ensure that all software development is done to a high standard and that it is fully tested and deployed in a secure and reliable manner
Knowledge skills and experience required
- 3 years leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong technical experience leading the design and development of complex software systems
- Knowledge of multiple frontend and backend languages (Node.js React Next.js Typescript JavaScript HTML CSS) and their libraries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL Redis and MongoDB
- Experience with eventdriven architectures
- Proficiency with Git Confluence Jira
- Basic understanding of Docker Kubernetes and Continuous Integration and Deployment/Delivery
- Ability to write application code and automated tests according to teamadopted practices disciplines and quality guidelines
- Selfstarter that can take a product problem and develop a working technical solution
