Job Description

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Autophagy and Lysosomal Dysfunction team at the Neurodegenerative Diseases Group.


Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • FP2 (Tcnico Superior en Laboratorio Clnico y Biomdico or equivalent)
  • Certificate in handling animals for research purposes

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • Experience in animal experimentation
  • Experience in cell biology and molecular biology techniques: protein analysis techniques maintenance and manipulation of cell cultures histopathology techniques immunofluorescence microscopy purification and processing of biological samples (DNA RNA proteins) PCR quantitative PCR genotyping etc

Desired:
  • Any type of training courses related to the job description will be valued very positively

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Technical support in mouse experimental procedures.
  • Technical support in other molecular biology techniques.
  • Support in lab organization (manage orders reagent preparation).

Labour conditions:

  • Fulltime: 40h/week
  • Starting date: Immediate
  • Gross annual salary: 20.28810 Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
