Job Description
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Autophagy and Lysosomal Dysfunction team at the Neurodegenerative Diseases Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- FP2 (Tcnico Superior en Laboratorio Clnico y Biomdico or equivalent)
- Certificate in handling animals for research purposes
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 4 years of experience
- Experience in animal experimentation
- Experience in cell biology and molecular biology techniques: protein analysis techniques maintenance and manipulation of cell cultures histopathology techniques immunofluorescence microscopy purification and processing of biological samples (DNA RNA proteins) PCR quantitative PCR genotyping etc
Desired:
- Any type of training courses related to the job description will be valued very positively
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Technical support in mouse experimental procedures.
- Technical support in other molecular biology techniques.
- Support in lab organization (manage orders reagent preparation).
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime: 40h/week
- Starting date: Immediate
- Gross annual salary: 20.28810 Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
