Overview
A SAP Solution Manager Expert is a specialized IT professional responsible for managing and optimizing the SAP Solution Manager environment. This role involves ensuring the effective use of SAP Solution Manager to streamline operations manage IT services and support project and application lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP Solution Manager: Oversee the configuration customization and daily management of the SAP Solution Manager 7.2 environment including Focused Build ChaRM Solution Documentation Test Suite and IT Service Management
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide functional and technical support and troubleshoot issues within the SAP Solution Manager (and addons like CCM BPCA etc.) environment ensuring its stability security and performance. Perform regular system health checks upgrades and enhancements of SolMan patches and troubleshooting.
- Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to other team members on the functionalities and best practices of SAP Solution Manager
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve SAP processes and systems staying updated with the latest technologies and enhancements in SAP Solution Manager
- Governance: control of SolMan ChaRM via alignment with stakeholders such as other connected systems AMS team rollout managers developers testers and key users.
- Technical Change Management: communicate and collaborate on the change management objectives expectations and outcomes support AMS Service manager for Release Management.
Qualifications :
- Experience: 5 years in IT/technology roles minimum 3 years of proven track record working with SAP Solution Manager
- SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager functionalities and best practices such as ChaRM ITSM and Test Suite. Experience in SAP Basis is an advantage
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to effectively manage complex systems and issues
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and provide training and support
- Languages: excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Living experience in Europe and working experience in a Europeanbased company
