About the position:
We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to help build innovative features for global brand customers who use Sitecores Big Data Personalisation & Analytics platform. You will work with product owners backend developers to solve complex technical challenges and build exciting new features for the product. The right candidate will be interested in simplifying complex backend capabilities into solutions with modular testable code.
What Youll Do:
- Build globally distributed microservices that are highly reliable maintainable scalable and resilient
- Develop new features discuss and design software solutions with a motivated and experienced team
- Research new technologies and tools to improve business processes
- Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
- Give helpful constructive feedback through code reviews
- Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for the assigned codebase product area and/or systems
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- 24 years experience in building software solutions using Java
- Experience building highly optimized RESTbased APIs and building scalable systems in Java
- Relational database experience such as Postgres
- Experience working with microservices Kafka CI/CD Jenkins Git and Docker
- Experience working in a DevOps culture and in a cloudbased ecosystem
Nice to Have:
- Experience in designing analyzing and troubleshooting largescale distributed systems
- Experience with containerization approaches (Docker and Kubernetes) schema modelling and validation tools (Swagger/OpenApi)
- Experience working with AWS (EC2 Lambda IAM S3 SQS SNS)
- Experience using Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) and/or Python for creating and maintaining lightweight scripts such as Edge development Workers Lambdas CDK stacks
- Experience with service monitoring and alerting (Prometheus Grafana)
