Do you have a track record of delivering construction projects within the education sector If so we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project and Commercial Management consultancy team in Birmingham
As an Senior Project Manager you will provide clientside project management services with a key focus on the Education sector. You will play a key part during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle including; option studies development of the design procurement construction (including NEC contract administration) and handover.
Heres what youll do:
Your role will include but not be limited to the following day to day tasks.
- Working in the Education sector with input to a number of key and prospective clients.
- Clientside project management including stakeholder engagement schedule and contract management
- Be a primary interface with AECOMs Education clients (new and existing)
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with clients stakeholders and members of the multidisciplinary project team
- Lead in the delivery of Project Management commissions taking responsibility for their successful outcome
- Manage the efficient delivery of project management team outputs in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards
- Oversee the coordination and signoff of all reports and information produced by the project management team prior to issue
- Provide line management and mentoring to all staff members reporting to you and ensure that they have current and relevant training
- Participate in business development opportunities with existing and new clients including crossselling opportunities ensuring that these are identified and acted upon

Heres what were looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
- Specific Higher Education project experience
- Professional Qualified ideally Project Management/ Engineering /Construction /Quantity Surveying Degree
- Good working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts or similar combined with commercial awareness
- Collaborative management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Valid UK driving licence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered Status with either the ICE RICS CIOB RIBA or other equivalent institution
- APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
- NEC3 / NEC4 Accredited PM preferred
