The Senior Manager of City Design Coordination will play a critical role within NEOM The LINEs City Design Coordination team supporting the overall integration of city design activities. Reporting to the Director Design Coordination this role focuses on managing design workflows ensuring collaboration across various disciplines and helping to deliver a cohesive highquality urban environment. Youll work handson with design teams ensuring that NEOMs ambitious vision is executed effectively and to the highest standards.


As the Senior Manager of City Design Coordination youll be instrumental in helping NEOM The LINE bring its visionary urban development to life. Youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every aspect of the citys design is integrated seamlessly contributing to a city that sets new standards for innovation sustainability and urban living. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate design manager looking to make a tangible impact on one of the worlds most ambitious urban projects.

Responsibilities:         

  • Assist the Director Design Coordination in managing and overseeing the integration of all design efforts across NEOM The LINE including collaboration with Urban Designers Neighbourhood Architects Infrastructure Engineers and consultants for critical city assets like basements and technical floors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for design teams facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure all design components align with NEOMs overall vision and quality objectives.
  • Coordinate the daily activities of various design teams ensuring that timelines are met design conflicts are resolved and the integration process runs smoothly.
  • Manage design deliverables tracking progress ensuring deadlines are adhered to and providing feedback to ensure high standards of design and functionality are maintained.
  • Support the Director in problemsolving complex design integration challenges ensuring all city design elements work together both functionally and aesthetically.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to gather design information facilitate crossteam collaboration and drive alignment between design and technical requirements.
  • Ensure that design processes and outputs are aligned with NEOMs sustainability innovation and quality goals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members within City Design Coordination contributing to a culture of collaboration and excellence.
     

What were looking for

  • 22 years of experience in architecture urban design or a related field with significant experience managing design coordination on largescale urban development projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • A solid understanding of urban design principles infrastructure integration and public realm development.
  • Proven experience managing complex design processes including tracking deliverables solving design conflicts and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Ability to balance daytoday design management with strategic problemsolving to meet project goals and standards.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and innovative urban design practices along with a commitment to driving design excellence.
  • A collaborative approach and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
