Position Title: Clubhouse Specialist 1 Full Time
Location: Holyoke MA
Rate of Pay: $19.55 Per hour; plus $60 biweekly stipend for being the backup MART driver
Hours: 8:00am4:30pm
Schedule: Monday Friday with occasional evenings weekends and holidays required; 1 Saturday per month 10am1:45pm required
Summary:
- Develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers providing access to an array of employment job training and educational opportunities. Responsibilities include vocational guidance job development job placement employer education and customer relations. Work side by side with members assisting with building career readiness skills social skills health and wellness and the ability to become more self sufficient. Individuals with human services direct care job coaching and career counseling experience encouraged to apply!
Qualifications:
- High School/GED and 1 year of experience required or an Associates degree with 1 year of experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Must serve as the Clubhouse Specialist and backup driver.
- Must have a valid drivers license good driving record and a reliable vehicle
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check preemployment drug screening physical and have an acceptable driving record. (Verified via requesting MA RMV)
- Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word data entry email and internet essential.
- Must have a willingness to network and showcase relationship building skills
- Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings employers offices and community organizations.
