Job Description
security supervisor manages the daytoday operations of a security team including:
Security personnel: Coordinating and deploying security personnel and delegating tasks
Training: Training new employees and reviewing training regularly
Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and developing plans to improve security measures
Performance: Monitoring performance and providing feedback
Incident response: Responding to incidents
Security systems: Monitoring CCTV and security systems
Patrolling: Performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches
Communication: Acting as a liaison between security officers customers and other managers
Security supervisors should have strong leadership skills be able to make quick decisions in stressful situations and inspire trust in their team.
