Job Description
Job Description: NDT Technician Level II
Position Title: NDT Technician Level II
Location: Singapore
Experience: Minimum 2 Years in NDT (NonDestructive Testing)
Certifications: Must have valid PCN Level II certification in MPT (Magnetic Particle Testing) and PT (Penetrant Testing)
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct NonDestructive Testing (NDT) techniques including Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) and Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Perform thorough inspections to identify defects and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Analyze and interpret test results documenting findings in detailed reports.
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with quality control teams and engineers to support production and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Assist in developing and updating NDT procedures as per project or client needs.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support their training needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection results and address any concerns.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid PCN Level II certification in MPT and PT.
- Minimum 2 years of handson experience in NonDestructive Testing.
- Strong knowledge of NDT principles standards and safety guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting MPT and PT results.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and reportwriting skills.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME API).
- Ability to work in a teamoriented environment and handle highpressure situations.
