JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Boise ID
Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Coverage Type: Clinical Call
Coverage Period: March 10 2025 Minimum 3 months with option to extend
Clinical Shift Schedule: 40 hours per week with shifts varying between 8 10 and 12 hours; includes weekend shifts (1 every 3 months)
OnCall Shift Schedule: 1 weekend call shift and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
Call Type: Onsite and callback
Call Ratio: Max 4:1 supervision model; independent role available at Nampa location
Callback Rate: Not specified
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Adolescents Adults Geriatrics (90% over age 12)
Patient Volume/Census: Continuous fulltime coverage 40 hours per week
Admissions: Not Applicable
Rounding: Not Included
Case Mix: GYN general surgery ortho spine crani plastics lungs healthy peds eye GI structural hearts EP endo interventional radiology MRI (No burns transplants open heart sick peds or OB)
Special Procedures: CRNAs perform spinal blocks and occasionally arterial lines; no epidurals or central lines
FACILITY INFORMATION
No. of Beds in Department: 17 MOR 7 DSC plus specials cath labs endo radiology
Trauma Level: Level II
EMR System: EPIC
Specialty Backup Available: Supervisionbased anesthesia with optional independent role at Nampa location
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

Credentialing Timeline: 30 days (licensed); up to 60 days (nonlicensed)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Idaho license or willingness to license
Certifications: NBCRNA DEA CSR
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
Other Qualifications: Proficiency with EPIC and Level II trauma cases
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide anesthesia care in a supervisionbased model or independently at Nampa location
Manage diverse surgical and interventional cases across various specialties
Participate in scheduled and oncall rotations as outlined
Maintain high standards of patient safety and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
