Supply Chain Lead

As part of Ventions Procurement team  you will be  operating a global procurement network made of hundreds of suppliers and 2000 SKUs. You will be responsible of executing tactical strategic and development activities to promote a competitive advantage for Vention and support customer driven needs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the execution of the overall purchasing process from preparation and
execution of tenders to order fulfillment including screening of purchasing requisitions and
issuance of purchase orders.
Develop issue and analyze comprehensive RFx
Manage POs and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
Ensure effective engagement collaboration and cooperation with internal clients and
suppliers
Identify and evaluate areas of opportunity for cost reduction
Perform Total Cost of Ownership evaluations and supplymarket research.
Engage with key partners to establish deep supplier relationships.
Understand competitive landscape and market trends to identify business opportunities.
Lead vendor contract and parts negotiations
Execute sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support Ventions corporate and
internal clients strategies and objectives.
Work collaboratively with internal clients functional SMEs and suppliers to define
requirements timing and scope

Qualifications :

• You have a degree in electrical mechanical or industrial engineering
• You bring 3 years experience in a global procurement position;
• You have excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary team;
• You have firm understanding of procurement process and corporate governance
• principles;
• You have Excellent organizational skills and pay close attention to details. Your work is always up to date.
• You have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
• You have a passion for negotiations. Ability to develop factbased recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• You showed the ability to work in a fastpaced (next day deliveries) and high volume (parcel shipments) with energy and enthusiasm;
• Business savvy with excellent problemsolving techniques and methods to understand cost breakdowns and associated cost drivers of manufacturing processes.
• You have an interest in engineering topics and are curious to learn more.
• Previous Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
• APICS or SCMP certification is an asset
