Job Description
Team you will be working with: Receive Adoption
The Receive Adoption team is a global product team working to help customers discover and adopt Wise for receiving third party payments. We do this by building new products and features as well as working to reduce the friction our existing customers have receiving into Wise. We are proud to support 8 local account details and 17 global account details and work with our regional teams to ensure these details are as convenient as possible. Customers can use these account details as well as other payment methods (card pay with wise open banking) to create link products invoices and profile links as well as setting up direct debits or receiving from online marketplaces.
Qualifications :
What we expect from you:
A strong product mindset and passion for customer experience you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make datadriven decisions to fix customer painpoints
Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical audience
Experience working with relational and nonrelational databases query optimisation and designing schemas
You enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development
You believe in and follow best coding practices code reviews and open feedback
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems
Hands on knowledge of system integration patterns
Knowledge of Java and Spring boot and experience with a messaging system like Kafka is a plus but dont worry we dont expect you to know everything!
