Job Description

Taurus is a FINMAregulated securities firm headquartered in Geneva Switzerland and providing digital asset trading and financial services to its clients. It is also a leading European provider of digital asset infrastructure solutions to banks corporations and private companies. Using blockchain technology Taurus platform covers cryptocurrencies tokenized securities and assets digital currencies and stable coins.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to support our fast global growth. You will be collaborating with our current Sr. Execution traders to build and scale our trading execution capabilities.
Tasks
- Execute client orders according to best execution policy and within set risk limits
- Work under the supervision of the Sr. traders
- Contribute to building topnotch trading infrastructure across all services (exchange prime brokerage spot derivatives etc.)
- Open manage and supervise relationship with digital asset exchanges OTC dealers liquidity providers and marketmakers; contribute to due diligence and monitoring
- Manage the proprietary trading portfolio of the firm take in charge hedging activities within set risk limits
- Respect all risk limits at all times
- Ensure proper execution and settlement of trades in close collaboration with the operations team
- Write daily newsletters about digital assets
- Write adhoc research papers
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the trading platform
- Prepare dashboards report about trading activities and best execution to the Management
- Participate to adhoc projects and initiatives such as testing new product releases
Requirements
- Bachelor or master degree in economics finance or business administration
- Min. 23 years experience in trading with multiple asset classes: cryptotrader FX or derivatives for regulated financial institution(s) (e.g. bank brokerdealer asset manager)
- Excellent quantitative skills well organized and structured
- Strong passion and excellent understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies
- Highest professional standards with respect to risk and compliance aspects (market abuse best execution stock exchange rules etc.)
- Knowledge of marketmaking a plus
- Quant and coding capabilities a strong plus
- Autonomous openminded selfstarter fastlearner handson highenergy level and resultoriented
- Fluent in English French a strong plus
