We have an exciting new opportunity that is sure to brighten up your next career move. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Learning & Development Manager for Eastern Europe.
You will be responsible to manage Academy activity for the Eastern European region (incl. 19 countries); driving our Heartist Culture for all new and existing talents.
- Support and advise Accor Hotels and support offices in the implementation of Learning & Development actions in Eastern Europe where you will be responsible for communicating promoting and selling the Academy offer in your dedicated area.
- Plan and organize state of the art trainings managing a team of external trainers in your region
- Lead the Academy offer including its pricing & billing services in Eastern Europe
- Ensure all training is tracked and documented; produce statistics and preliminary reports investigate administrative followup
You will develop business opportunities dramatically increasing Accor Academys reputation and turnover in the region.
- Drive the Academy sales strategy in Eastern Europe and proactively manage key accounts within Accor and nonAccor perimeter. Know the regional market and hunt for new business opportunities.
- Monitor multiple projects to maximize our sales performance in the Eastern European region. Including new hotel openings and projects.
- Develop business plans with strategic partners and implement metrics and milestones to drive the performance and revenue (KPIs & CRM approach).

Our requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a strong L&D background in both delivery and design and will demonstrate a dynamic leadership style with experienced coaching skills
- Strong project management experience and the ability to build and translate the business strategy into actionable plans are both essential requirements for this role
- Minimum 8 years experience working in a similar role as Learning and Development Manager or HR leading role for a comparable large geographical regional (Eastern European countries would be desirable). Or previous experience working as a Training Manager/ L&D Freelancer/Senior L&D consultant (from or similar to hospitality industry)
- Strong orientation both in people development and business development
- Previous experience in identifying new business development opportunities and generating high sales results/revenue
- Customer centric approach where key account management is applied to the HR dimension
- High adaptability skills to adjust the strategy and the training offer according to the clients needs & market trends
- Building and maintaining strong business relationships with our main stakeholders in Hotels (VP Operations and hotel General Managers) and support offices also (Talent and Culture teams)
- State of the art Training organization and delivery quality
- An experienced manager with a friendly disposition and exceptional interpersonal skills; with a strong business acumen; not afraid to challenge the status quo
- An natural strong communicator with high emotional intelligence that knows how to adapt to their audiences at all times
- Previous experience working in an international company across various countries; with different managers from diverse cultures would be advantageous
- Confident and assertive individual with strong organization and negotiation skills
- Very strong command of English (min. C1) and Fluent in Polish. Additional Eastern European would also be desirable and advantageous.
- Proactive approach when working on various assignments projects and the ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work independently and autonomously within the Academy framework
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex environment and ability to prioritise and meet various deadlines
- Experience in Hospitality is desirable
