Job Description for Executive Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Manage executive calendars coordinate meetings and book appropriate meeting spaces
- Handle internal and external communications including email management and prioritization
- Perform financial administration tasks such as creating invoices processing payments and reconciliations
- Assist with aspects of payroll and financial transaction management
- Prepare and vet financial documents for accuracy and compliance
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
- Provide general administrative support for daytoday company operations
- Support the company s transition to a SaaS model by assisting with new initiatives and processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in English both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with financial software such as Xero or Dext
- Familiarity with communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams
- Keen attention to detail especially in financial matters
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new software and processes
- Comfort with remote work and flexibility to align with the South African time zone
Scope:
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Central Africa Time
