Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Condition Monitoring Technician is responsible to monitor and analyse the condition of equipment thereby reducing production downtime increasing machine availability and extending machine life in support of clients s vision mission and strategic organisational goals.
Carry out routine and nonroutine machinery condition monitoring and data collection using data collectors and computerized CM systems with direction and support from the supervisor.
Qualifications
Essential
National Diploma: Mechanical or Mechanical.
BTech:
Desirable
National Diploma: Mechanical or BTech: Mechanical and Registration with Professional Body
Experience Training
Level1 certification in condition monitoring
Experience in the Mechanical Engineering discipline of which a significant portion has been spent in Condition Monitoring and rotating equipment maintenance/engineering
